When I have worked for other real estate agencies in the past, I have always been a bit shy of telling people what I do, because of the negative connotations of the industry. I always used to screw up my face and say with a heavy heart, “I’m in real estate,” quickly followed by “it’s not my dream job, but it pays the bills.” Fast forward nearly 10 years and now when I meet people, I can’t wait to tell them that I work in real estate, because now it has turned into my dream job, now I work at Triennial Properties.

We are a group of individuals who love the Algarve, love working in real estate and love working hard for our clients. Having worked within the Algarve real estate market for more years than we can count we know a thing or two about finding that perfect property for our buyers, achieving the best possible price for our vendors and how to change the perception of our business within the industry.

To us you are not just another number in the spreadsheet or red line on the sales chart – and yes, I have worked in companies with sale “thermometers” and bell ringing when sales have been completed! Don’t get me wrong, we love it when we match our buyers to their perfect property, but we celebrate with you because we know how much you will love your new home.

All of us working at Triennial Properties have personal experience of moving to, and selling in, Portugal. We have been exactly where you are and know how daunting it can feel - if only we had had an agency like us on hand all those years ago! In all seriousness, we know that buying and selling abroad is different from buying and selling at home and that a knowledgeable voice on the end of the phone or a professional email confirming a sale is what you are looking for. We try not to use all the industry jargon when talking with you, we tell you the facts, the truth and we pride ourselves in our transparency and openness. We don’t have a “one fits all” approach as we know that this will leave some people stranded or let them down. We focus on you and what your needs are and we do are best to answer every question, fill in all the gaps and even stop for a coffee and a cake every now and then.

Our founders know that people make all the difference and have built a team of awesome individuals – I would say that they hired me! But honestly together we are a force to be reckoned with. Everyone has a part to play whether in front of clients or behind the scenes and we are united by a common way of working and the want to genuinely help our clients buy and sell property. Every person in the company brings a strength and benefit for us all.
