It's not just energy prices that are on the up, property prices are also increasing here, there and everywhere. Don't wait, make an offer on that property today.
When you hear real estate agents warning you against waiting too long to make an offer on that perfect property it isn’t all just sales technique and bravado. The market is moving so quickly now that if you wait too long to make an offer on the property that is THE one, it will get sold before you can say “take me to the lawyers!” or, if we look at the most recent figures, don’t be surprised if it isn’t the same price if/when you come back later in the year.
It's not just energy prices that are on the up, property prices are also increasing here, there and everywhere. The average sale price of properties in the third quarter of this year recorded a year-on-year increase of 9.3%, representing an increase of around €34,000. However, this is not something that has suddenly materialised, in the previous quarter, the average sale value of properties in Portugal also increased by 2.5%. The areas that saw large increases in prices were Lisbon, Faro, Setúbal and Porto, but the biggest price hikes occurred in Évora and Madeira.
At Triennial Properties we only ever value our properties at the current market value. We use our years of experience within the Algarve property market, we compare properties with those sold within the last 12 months under typical market conditions and we have invested in technology that updates in real-time and can investigate many more factors quickly and precisely to make sure that the price we advertise a property for is, in fact, the right one.
